I got to go see Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, and Thompson Square on Sunday night! Best decision ever. Luke Bryan is an all-around great show. He seemed so personable on stage and really connected with the audience!! Plus, who doesn't love a nice smile and some good dance moves?! haha
Yesterday I bought tickets to see Kenny Chesney when he comes to Peoria at the end of April. I think I am becoming a country girl. It's crazy to think how much I have changed. When I was younger, I absolutely hated country. Any time my mom tried to play it in the car, I would plug my ears in sing la la la la (you know...like annoying little kids) until she changed it and now I voluntarily am going to two country concerts in a two month time frame.
Currently, the semester has gotten super busy. MTG 490 (capstone) is consuming my life right now while my group and I try to write our huge marketing plan. Thankfully Dr. O'Brien has a heart and extended our deadline until next Tuesday so we have more time to finish. I just still feel as though this semester hasn't really begun. Maybe it's because I don't want it to end because I don't want to graduate and be an adult yet.
Instead of a quote this week here is an interesting link that I found while procrastinating on Pinterest...
26 Moments that restored our faith in humanity this year. I know some of them are silly but some made me happy to know there are still good people out in the world.

I'm also a fan of Luke Bryan and his looks can't hurt either. I'm still on the edge about Florida Georgia Line. I saw them when they opened for Corey Smith a couple years ago and they weren't popular yet. My boyfriend was positive that they would make it big and I vowed to stand my ground and not ever like them. I think their music is slowly growing on me, even though I would never admit that. I'm considering giving them another chance :) to lure me in. Until then, I prefer to act like the young child and change the station or sing la la la la. I'm assuming that you bought tickets for The Band Perry??
ReplyDeleteI can feel the pressure of graduation starting to loom myself. Part of it is why I chose to go to grad school because I'm just not ready for college to end. Good luck with Dr. O'Brien! He's a good professor but he is definitely tough.
ReplyDeleteMarketing 490 is probably going to kill us. So, you might now have to worry about graduating. :P
